Hello after the last updated i have an issue with the undo function.

When i cut a file and select a random file on the artbloard and then use "undo (Ctrl+Z)" the cuted file is selected only.

Few weeks ago the function was working with bouth objects selected after i did the Undo.

Is there an option to change that or its something with the newest update?

Hi @Mario D

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing. Could you please share a quick recording of the issue, along with your OS and Illustrator version?

Regards,

Srishti

Hello, I allow myself to join Mario's remark, because as a daily user of ILLUSTRATOR for years, this possibility of being able to keep the last selections after having canceled a cut action was really practical, it allowed to be able to easily and quickly add elements in the background for example to our selection. Having deleted or corrected it is really annoying and penalizing for those who were used to using it. Too bad.

This is the best and fastestest way to select stacked objects - cut the top object, select the nect object, undo and both objects are selected and could be moved - I'll go back to 2024 for this one. What's the alternative method? select above and/or below does the same - bad update.
