Hello,
I am looking to purchase a laptop that I can use to run Illustrator and Photoshop. I design wedding invitations and primarily use vector files. I don’t use RAW images.
I would greatly appreciate specific laptop recommendations as I’m quite lost on what to look at. Obviously I’ve read a lot about the Surface Book 2 but it’s quite pricey. If need be, I’ll go with that one, but I was hoping for something a little more cost effective.
Please note, I primarily use a PC, but I've been out and about a lot as of late and would like something to use in such occasions so I can still get work done.
Thank you!
- Stephanie

Look at software requirements. That will give you an idea about RAM and Disk space. PCs are more affordable than Macs. HP has a variety of laptops, start there.

I have used surface book 2 specifically for Photoshop the last months and its worked better and better over time. I have some issue with the surface making alot of noise and Slows down on higher performance but it seems to improve.
Drawing on the surface there is No comparing product. I used iPad Pro before and loves it, but i was very limited to the apps provided. I cant recommend a better product than surface book 2 if you are into drawing aswell as other usage like after effects/illustrator.

For editing and running photoshop, MacBook are the best one. I have used Photoshop on my MacBook Air and it is running smoothly. Other than MacBook you can check the laptops suggested by thecrazybuyers.
