Learn Illustrator from certified adobe experts

Hello, I am new to adobe illustrator. I was wondering if Adobe has a guided programme or any experts who teach the software online. Till now I have found only youtube videos but they are not structured, tried Lynda courses but those are all rudimentary. In the official Adobe website, there are only a few tutorials are provided. If there is any kind of DVD made by Adobe that can also help to some extent.
Additionally, I would like to know whom/ where to ask when I am struck with any particular portion. Do you guys ask here or is there any other forums where they help each other. Graphics stack exchange works fine but there are a few participants there. Any other forum suggestion?

If you're looking for comprehensive training, you might want to try a book, like Adobe Illustrator Classroom in a Book, instead of a video series.

Adobe Press publishes the Classroom in Book series. Is that what you mean?

Lynda ( linkedin)  illustrator courses  are not  just rudimentary;  Deke McClelland for example has lots of videos going well beyong basic.

You can find teachers to hire from here

Thanks for your reply but the link you shared has some links made by different people but none of them are comprehensive. What I am desperately looking for is something that summarises all the ins and outs of illustrator, But the more I am trying the more I am guessing there is nothing as such.

lynda.com has courses broken down by beginner, intermediate, advanced and master, within those courses videos are broken in to chapters and those chapters are fragmented into short videos.

search Lynda.com and look at the massive collection, this is all you need in my opinion. i do 80 plus hour a year in lynda.com and i think its fantastic, you will probably get somebody here to give you a 30 day free trial. some ACP members have the ability to give those.
