Hello @Berencie27867883gyt3,

Sorry to hear about this experience. I hope the suggestions shared by Monika gave some insight into the trouble you are having. Would you mind creating a new file and saving it to a location on the computer, like the desktop, and checking if you can replicate this issue?

If yes, kindly share some information, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator installed, the location where you are saving the file, and a screen recording of the problem, as suggested by Mylenium, so that we can investigate this further.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Anubhav

If you save on a network colume, please be aware of this: https://helpx.adobe.com/lu_en/illustrator/kb/illustrator-support-networks-removable-media.html  In short: Illustrator doesn't like networks. Same goes for synchronized folders.

If this is happening on your internal harddisk, check for non-latin characters in names or names of files/folders that are just too long. Also you might want to check that disk for hardware errors, just in case

And then: turn off "Save in background in the Illustrator preferences.

Without any system info and other details like where your documents are stored and how you open them we really can't tell you anything. You need to be more specific.
