Hi @benjaming50644146,

I understand the red bleed markers have disappeared. In Illustrator, these markers only show when View > Show Print Tiling and Bleed is enabled, and the document has a defined bleed. Please check that your document has bleed set up under File > Document Setup and that View > Show Print Tiling and Bleed is turned on. Additionally, in Illustrator preferences under General, make sure the option Show Print Bleed is enabled.

If the markers still do not appear after checking these settings, could you let me know your OS and Illustrator version, and whether this happens in all files or just a specific one? A screenshot or short screen recording would also help me review the issue with the team.

Looking forward to your update,
Abhishek

Hi @Abhishek Rao,

thank you for your reply, indeed this only happens on one file! My Illustrator version is 29.7.1, and my mac os is 15.4.1 (Sequoia). I can't find Show Print Tiling (View).
Thank you in advance for your help.
Have a nice day, Benjamin

Hi @benjaming50644146,

Thanks for confirming the details. Since this is only happening with one file, it could be related to how the bleed was set up there. Please go to File > Document Setup and make sure a bleed value is entered. Once that's in place, the red markers should appear automatically at the edges of the artboard. Also, here are the screenshot for your reference to enable the bleed:

Could you check this in your file and let me know if the bleed markers show up after enabling it?

Looking forward to your update.

Abhishek

Thank you for your new feedback :

• yes a bleed value is entered in the Document Setup ;

• the option Show Print Bleed is enabled in Illustrator preferences under General ;

• and I don't see the option to enable the bleed.

I don't understand what's going on, it's never happened to me! I'm going to recreate a new file... but I like to understand 🙂
Thank you for your availability.

LATEST

Show Print Tiling is "Afficher les limites d'impression" en Français (but it has nothing to do with showing the bleed).

How large was your bleed? If it was very small you will not see it.
