Line Extension not working although smart guides are on

Hello,
I updated my Illustrator to the 2025 version and I noticed that the line extension feature is not working.

My smart guides are turned on.

It is really frustrating because it is one of the most important features when working with paths in my opionion.

I hope this issue will be fixes soon!
