Link, Template and Show Imports options missing. MAC

When I go to open a jpg file in the file window it doesn't show the Link, Template and Show Import Options anymore. I have all the latest updates for MAC and Illustrator is v 24.1. My file window has the correct folder open and All Readable Documents enabled.

 

Anyone know how I can fix this?

The Place Option is displayed only when operating "File / Place..."
