losing colour in artwork when zooming in on artboard

Hi Team. When I zoom in the colour disappears from my work leaving only the outlines. I can restore the colour by pressing ctrl-Y however it keeps on happening. A box also pops up saying "cant finish previewing. could not complete the requested operation". Can someone help. Thanks

Sounds like not enough memory for a large and maybe complex file. Does turning off GPU Preview help?

Yes I think so. Im not at all tech savie. How would I fix that?

Hard to tell how to fix that.

How much memory is installed?

Does the artwork contain images? Try linked files.

Repating objects? Try Static Symbols.

It happens any time I zoom in more than 12.5%. Im using version 28.4.1
