Lost Scrubby Zoom in AI 2017

My GPU (NVIDIA GTX 660M , 512 MB) had no trouble with scrubby zoom in Illustrator 2015.3. Now it's unsupported in Illustrator 2017. Why?

That's only half an answer. Seems like an arbitrary decision, since it worked fine before. Why take away existing functionality from your users?

Yep, here too. Is annoying a company normally do updates on software to include and get better for everyone.

Is not the case, i use an 2011 iMac, and just after the update i lost the gpu zoom. (512mb video ram).

So, you say i'm not good enough anymore? But was before?
