Hi,
I have came accross a couple of files now that crash when opening on my M1 processor mac. I have also tried this on other M1 processor macs with the same result. However it opens fine on an Intel mac.
Any ideas how we can get around this other than opening on an Intel mac?
Cheers
Andy

Is there anything that these files have in common?
Their content, used fonts, their creation date, their location ... anything?

Sounds like this might be better answered by Apple.

I don't like Apple that much although I'm using their products, but: M1 processors don't have any general issues with Illustrator. And since it's also not happening to all files, it needs to be analyzed.

Hi. Try opening those files on the Intel mac and saving them as new files, then check if you can open them on the M1 Mac.
