Hi everyone, im quiet new to adobe illustrator, and i am having issues when using 3D filters or even when using the blending option to create a furry effect. My laptop becomes super slow and even crashes at time resulting in my work being lost.

These are the specs of my macbook:

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports)

processor: 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5

memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

is my laptop the problem? should i get another laptop with a 16gb ram?

Please some reccomed something.

8 is the minimum and 16 is recommended. For 3D the GPU memory is also important; 2 gig recommended.
