Make Shape with Plug-in

Is it possible to bring custom shape into Astute Graphics Make Shape? Because when I tried it, separate shape created by Astute Graphics appears.

Can you perhaps describe in more detail what you want to achieve? A completely different shape or something that can be made by adjusting the settings? What is the endgoal (e.g. can brushes solve it)?

See this video. Fist you have to make a shape to manipulate it. I assume Astute Graphics Make Shape Plug-in is used to make shape but video does not show that. It only shows make shape plug-in is in the appearence panel to manipulate the shape. time 2.27-2.46

Just drawing a shape is not the purpose of this effect. It exists to generate shapes as part of an appearance. So that shapes are made based on certain rules that depend on the base artwork. E.g. you can generate a star at every point of the path.

What is the goal you want to achieve? If you just want to draw a shape, use the Dynamic Shapes tool. AG Make shapes effect is a very specific thing for people who need this in their graphic styles.
