Why didn't my make with top object filled the shape perfectly?

Can you please show screenshots instead of this video? There's so much going on that it's unclear what you are referring to. The part that actually matters is how long? 1 second?

Please show the envelope shape and the source shape and then the result and please show a sketch of what you expect to happen.

I would expect the graphic to fill the shape of the path totally with no gaps left in it.

Nevermind, it's because of the shape.

Is it possible to define a certain part of the shape to be fitted in the path?

You don't always get the results that you expect, like the shape isn't always perfectly filled. However if want to align or work with the shape, you can go to Object> Envelop Distort>Edit Envelop
