Dear Adobe team

Today, I reopened a previously created ai file (adobe illustrator file). However, my installed antivirus detected a trojan (trojan.generic.1395018)in the following path:

C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Local\Temp\cep_cache\ILST_27.3.1_com.adobe.illustrator.OnBoarding\GPUCache\index

May you please state what is going on here?

Hello @ARM229,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind sharing some more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, the link to the file you are having trouble with (https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/share-your-files-in-6-simple-steps/td-p/12967531), and the name/version of the Antivirus application so that we can investigate this further?

We appreciate your time and effort in helping us resolve this issue.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Dear Anubhav

Unfortunately, It is not possible to make a link the malicious file, because I reset my notebook and installed a fresh windows after I was faced to this trouble.

However, the only information I could send you is that I use Win 11, and the truble occured after an update of Illustrator.

And I already state the exact path of the malicious file. The antivirus I normally use is Bitdefender total security.

Thank you
