Microsoft Dial Follow Up

I don't think I correctly worded what I was trying to say. When I click on the dial and turn it to the right and select the tools it won't show the tools anymore. When it did work it should 4 different types of tools to pick.

I’ve never used a Dial, but I am guessing that it comes with a utility app for the settings, similar to a Wacom device. Have you tried reinstalling the utility and resetting the preferences for it?

The Surface Dial can be turned around in different directions too pick the categories for that App. In Photoshop using the Surface Dial I can pick the different tools for what I want to do with that brush. But Illustrator doesn't show anything when I pick the brushe. It brings up nothing. I reinstalled Illustractor.
