Minus front on 3 layers

Hi All,

I see a form of this question has been asked many times, but not in the form that answers my question.

Perhaps someone can assist please -

If I want to minus front on more than 2 layers how would I do this.

As you can see below: If I want to push the blue bar though the white bar, I would use the normal minus front, and result in the second image:

But what if I wanted to go through the bottom gradient layer as well in one operation? What is an easy way to do this as I often need to use this function.

Thanks,

Darren

Select the objects.

Choose Divide from the Pathfinder panel.

Delete the blue object.

But you will also lose the gradient behind the white object.
