I can't say whether I attempted illustratives native reflect and it didn't work or not but in any case it solved the problem.

It would be extremely helpful if you upload the problematic file and describe step by step (with screenshots) what exactly you are doing. Including of course what exactly is selected.

I'm taking the gradient mesh, duplicating; followed by using this tool mt_reflect.png from the Gradient Mesh tool set.

What you're expecting can't be accomplished with Illustrator's mirror tool?

The Mesh Tormentor  mirror mirrors the colors through the existing mesh points.

What do you expect to happen?

That's what Illustrator's reflect tool is for.

And if it doesn't do what you want please explain it better.

Monika - he's using a third party plug-in, not an Illustrator native tool.

Maybe Reflect Colours  here doesn't mean  Mirror, as they not exactly the same word

Perhaps reflect, means something  more like cast ?

You mean cast the same colors to another gradient mesh, that is possible unfortunately it doesn't help me.
