Missing fonts error on Illustrator

Hello,

when I open an illustrator document, then I get the message that the font HelveticaNeue is not in my system installed.

After downloading the font from this website I still get the warning.

I have restart Illustrator but this doesn't helped.

How can I fix it?

So sorry to hear about this trouble. I would request if you could share a few more details like:

• Is the font working on new documents?
• If not, try installing the font to an Illustrator application folder (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PTgGNuFE5k) and try working with it.

Helevtica is not a free font.

Monika is right, Helevatica is not free, however, I found this on my machine. Please download it from following links and let me know if this helps.

Oh no! I just rechecked and they are opening fine at my end. I reconfirmed with a colleague as well.

I have had the same problem with the same font! Unfortunately this is a copyrighted font, typically:

https://www.linotype.com/1245395/neue-helvetica-family.html?site=valuepacks#product-tab-2

There are also free versions:

https://freefontsdownload.net/free-helveticaneue-font-74318.htm (same as you posted above)

Go into the font manager and remove Helvetica Neue. Do a restart and re-install the font.
