Question

Missing fonts in Illustrator on Mac

Hi,

I've downloaded some fonts and placed them in my font file (ie. on mac-- library/fonts) but sometimes they show up in my Adobe suite (I have CS6) and sometimes they do not.

I've tried restarting my mac, I've tried moving the individual ttf. file from the folder it was sitting in directly into my font file but still does not work.

Could anyone please help. I've searched all the forums but nothing has helped.

Thanks

Illustrator is particularly prissy in regards to fonts.

If a font is not 150% OK, then Illustrator will be the first application to notice.

Apart from that, please try:

Hi, i Googled that page already, to no avail.

So you have done everything that's mentioned on the page step by step?

You might need to uninstall fonts because they are corrupt. Did you check your fonts for corruption?

Can you please tell us more about your system? Is a font manager installed?
