Question

Most recent update affecting the way the TAB key works in Layer names

I often have to go through several layers and rename them all at once. For a long time I've been able to double click the top layer and hit TAB after renaming the layer. It would then send me to rename the next layer and so on. Today after the most recent update hitting TAB is highlighting various icons to the right and below the top layer. Sometimes I can cycle through to the next layer, sometimes it randomly will shoot to the icons and the bottom of the layers panel. This is really disrupting my work flow. Is it just me or is it really something with the most recent update? I would hate for it to stay like this.

Ugh, it steps through all the little boxes and icons on each layer. Have to literally hit tab 5 times to get to the next layer name. This should be an options, not the default.

Not a fan of this new behavior. There is also a pop up reminding me that the caps lock key is on which gets in the way of clicking within the name of the object/layer and it turns off caps lock if you accidentally click it.

One of the recent updates included a long list of accessibility changes. I would imagine this was part of those.

I can reproduce what you reported on Windows OS.

At first glance I do not like it as well, but I can imagine that it may be beneficial if one wants to show/hide/lock/target layers and objects just by using the keyboard.
