Hello in the AI version, I am not able to move selected objects via my cursor and touch pad. Its quite irritating and a company like Adobe should fix such bugs.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with the move and selection tools in Adobe Illustrator. This can certainly be frustrating, but there may be a few things you can try to resolve the issue.

Ensure that the layer is not locked
There is a hidden Illustrator modal dialog open in the background. You will hear a ding sound. If yes, then Press the ESC key and see if that helps!
Close apps running in the background

Which version and system is it?

What kind of hardware are you running it on? How much RAM is installed?

Exactly what is happening? It doesn't move at all? Some error message? Beep? Is it just slow? Does it crash?

What kind of artwork is this? Effects, transparency? Patterns? Placed pixel images?
