Question

Multiexporter script doesn't show SVG

The MultiExporter script from Tom Byrne doesn't show SVG as an option on the dropdown menu (with or without version 1.0). I'm running Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 6 in Illustrator 2020.

It use to show up sometimes (only while being hooked up to a dock station at my office). But, I can't for the life of me get the option to show up like everyone else's computer when I'm not hooked up to the dock station, and I have no idea why. I've tested out my theories of it working because I was connected to the internet via ethernet cable, or that the file type was corrupted (tried the original file that worked, and a new/blank) but no luck. Any suggetions? I'd be happy to use the normal svg exporter(s) in Illustrator but I'm doing this for Fontforge and have a lot of files to export.

Hi harvestjohns

I don't know if you still need help with this but here is how I fixed this issue in case someone ran into the same problem

actualy the option is there but invisable ... you can use the arrows to reach the svg option without seeing the menu lol.

Of course that's still annoying so here is how to fix this interface issue

go to edit -> Prefernces -> User interface and from there choose scale to lower supported scale factor

Then you will be able to see the whole menu

My UI doesn't look like that.  There is no option for High PPI displays

Your UI of what?

If MultiExporter, then maybe you need an update.
