Multiple saving illustrator

Hello, 

i'm having an issue while saving files in illustrator, everytime i save a document before leaving the app, it saves multiple time, basically i have mutliple files with the same name ( .1 .2 .3...) that are automatically saved, any idea on how i could make ot stop please?

You could try a couple of things, restart your machine, save local, turn off in Preferences Save in Background, reset your Preferences.
