'Multiply' Drop Shadow acting up

Hi hi!

I'm trying to add a darker drop shadow to my letters, the mode is on overlay and the colour is on black.

However, the shadow becomes white instead of a darker colour.. Any way to fix this? 😕😕

    Just in case anyone else has this issue and is looking for a solution, I did and it was because the layer had "dim images set to 50%," something you could try checking.

    Have you tried some of the other Blend methods, like Lighten?

    I have, but it stays white with every option I choose.

    I also tried adding a outer glow and this didn't work either...

    Is it process black or spot black?

    Which document color mode?

    Did you already restart the computer?
