Multiply path More than 3 times

Hey all,

I am looking for a way to multiply an existing path by a factor of 6, for example. Triple works with the path shift.
But that's all I've found.
Specifically, I am recreating a transit map and need to draw 6 partial lines between 2 stations.

Looking forward for your help!

thx!

Did you mena to say paralell. Not sure what you mean by triple. There is not a path shift, but an offset path. If you provide a screenshot we maybe abel to assist better.

You can use the appearance palette to create this, adn even more intricate items for a transit map. uses dashes to create train tracks.

Hey all,

yeah, sorry you're right: offset path. I tried it. But these colours will get duplicate/mirrored to the other side.

Attached is an extract of the original transit map and it shows 6 lines.

What I want to have is kind to draw a line and then multiply it. The distances should be adjustable somehow so that all parameters are identical.

You may also take a look what custom brushes can do for you (Art brushes, Pattern brushes).

There are plugins available that do it. Astute Graphics has one and Rick Johnson has the other.

On top of that you could create a brush.

thinking about it: I even have a video about that: https://youtu.be/Yft1WpyYmm0
