My blend object gets smaller when I copy it to another file. Why?

Hi

When I try to copy a blend object from one file to another it gets smaller in size. My blend object is the 'shadow' of my logo. The framework around the blend stays the same. So illustrator thinks its still the same size, but the blend does get smaller.

Can someone help me?

Please post larger screenshots.

Are you sure that both logos in both files are the same dimensions?

It looks like you are creating the shadow in RGB and pasting it as CMYK, you probably want the shadow in black only, for printing, or the entire logo as RGB for on-screen viewing.

Are the document raster effect settings the same?

You can also try to use Scale Strokes and Effects checkbox in Properties of your document or in Preferences

Scale or default settings would be different

It looks to me as though you have the original file view set to 300% and the copied logo view to 200%.

If you select the blend object, is it the same size? I think visually it looks smaller because the color changed in the lighter end of the blend.I bet it's actually the same size.
