my illustrations turned to an image

when i closed illustrator and then open it i feger out that my illustrations turnd to an image , not all of them but the grouped one 

there is a way to retrieve them or no ?

Did you save the in the file version you created them or as an older .ai version?

A backup version is probably the only way to get the editable file back.
