My images turned white

Hi everyone! I am having some trouble with one of my files, because most of the images I had turned white without any reason. As it is shown in the picture the image is kind of still there but I cant see them. 🙃

 

If anyone could help that will be great!!

The simple answer likely is that by abusing AI as a page layout tool for pixel-based imagery you run out of memory, be that in the GPU functions or in general. AI is not good at dealing with pixel images. As a start, turn off GPU acceleration in the preferences/ preview settings and see if it makes a difference. For anything beyond that actual system information and details about your document will be required.

Such problems generally related to previewing modules and based on memory issues. Try to close other applications to make more RAM space available for work. Check the HDD free space. Restarting the system is also useful.
