Navigator window- A way to zoom in workspace, not artboard

Community Beginner ,

Hello,

first, english is not my first language, so please excuse if I don't use the correkt terms.

I was wondering if there is a way to zoom in the navigator window. I don't intend to zoom in the main window, but just the navigator window. I have things outside the artboard, therefor the navigator window is zoom out alot.

There is an option in the navigator's burger menu, but that isn't super helpfull.

( I attached a screenshot, not sure if it will be shown in the post)

I appreciate your help

Have a nice day

you can press the cmd key (Ctrl on Windows) to get the zoom tool in the Navigator panel. Then drag a rectangle over the area you want zoomed.

Thank you for your response.

I'm trying to zoom the Navigator window itself, not the workspace (/"working area" ?). Right now, the Navigator lets me zoom in my workspace, but not in the Navigator window itself.

If you look at my attachement, you can see there is alot of white space around my graphics. With the Navigator window beeing zoomed out that much, the Navigator isn't really helpfull for me.

The panel has a menu where you can set it up to only show what's inside artboards.

Thank you for your response; unfortunately, this function is not particularly helpful in most of my cases. In some instances, the program even zooms out further when I activate the function. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I often have objects outside the artboard or bc I often use multiple artboards.

Thank you nonetheless for your assistance.
