Hey all, I was hoping to get some help with a project I have been stuck on for longer than Id like to admit. I tried gaussian blur to get this effect but it was mediocre at best. Does anyone know how or is willing to help create said image as a vector graphic?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
That looks nice!
What you can also do is draw a smaller, lighter orange shape, also apply blur to it and overlay. Maybe experiment with blend modes to make it shine a little more.

Can you show how far you've come?

That already looks pretty nice.
What's important about the Gaussian blur is that it blurs to the inside and to the outside of a shape. So you probably need to curve the shape differently in order to get the blur that is thicker in the center.

Thank you! Do you have any knowledge as to how I could make it shine more? I've thought about changing the material, but every time I do that I can't find any way to choose the color I want. Thank you

The colors of materials can sometimes be changed in the materials options. Once you apply a material, the fill color doesn't matter anymore. Only the color in the material does. Like this: https://youtube.com/shorts/Qj0Wy-zFLpk?feature=share

So what I'm hearing and seeing is that it just depends on what material you choose?

Some materials allow you to change its color.
