How to create 192x18 inches for print with 300ppi. I get error. I think it says resolution too large something.

Getting error in PSD as well as AI.  How do I get this exact size of 192inches by 18 inches. Thanks.

What is this for?

If this is for a banner, I doubt you need 300ppi... that's overkill.

Check with your vendor.

When I create a large document for print, I always ask my printer first what he wants. It is usually a ratio of either 1:4 or 1:10 depending on how large of a document. Because it is from AI, resolution isn't an issue, but if you are outputting from PSD, usually a large format document is seen from a distance, so you don't need as a resolution. Again, your printer is the best resourse to talk to.

How much memory do you have in your machine?

Did you try to open the file as a smart object in Photoshop and resample it to 300 ppi?
