New 3D features need basic shapes. Rotating and extending and inflating will not make a tetrahedron or pyramid. Think DnD dice. Can this be made with the new features in Illustrator? The new features are amazing, but I have wanted this for a specific project for a while. I have another idea to use the full dice set for DnD, but I only need the D4. The tetrahedron. Perhaps I need to dig deeper and educate myself. Any help would be amazing. Links to articles or videos would be great. Thanks in advance.

No, there's no way of making geometric shapes like that, just extrusions.

You might be able to use bevels to approach some kinds of shapes, but nothing like an equal sided die.
