I have been experiencing really weird issues with Adobe Illustrator latwly, sudden crashed, freezing, "unknown error" messages when trying to link or update embedded files, lagging. A colleague that was also using illustrator also had random freezing. I checked when it was last updated and the newest update was three days ago (6 August 2024) exactly when me and my colleague started experiencing issues. I am not sure if it is linked to the new update or not, but it is really strange how the dates are coinciding. I was wondering if this was just me or is anyone else just been experiencing Illustartor issues all round?

Hello @Dinggity,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind confirming if you have any beta Adobe apps installed on your computer? If yes, kindly try the following steps to check if they help:

- Close all Adobe applications
- Uninstall any installed Beta apps from Creative Cloud (https://adobe.ly/4cjnCbc)
- Relaunch Illustrator

If the problem persists, try removing Illustrator using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool (https://adobe.ly/3ArDaw0) and then reinstalling and share your observations.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
Anubhav
