NimbusSans can't be found

I'm getting this message a lot when I open documents containing this font.

 

I never de-activate the font but it keeps vanishing from Adobe apps.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. I would request you to share a few more details like:

  • OS and version of Illustrator and other Adobe Apps in which you are facing the issue
  • Please confirm if you have activated all the Nimbus Sans font family instances,  as there are 15.
    Every time you get this font missing dialog box, is it the same instance or different (like Bold, Regular, Light, etc.)
  • Is the issue related to a specific document? Could you please share some sample documents with us? You can upload it to the Creative Cloud (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/share.html) and share the download link.
  • From where are you opening the files (Network Drive/ System HDD/ Shared Folder on System/ External HDD)?
  • When did this start happening? Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates, or web extensions installed recently.
