Hey!
I've just started using AI and need to make a vectorized logo. I read that there is a vectorize tool on AI on the iPad, but I do not have this tool. Now i wanted to ask if this tool is only available for iPad Pros, since I'm usin an iPad 8. Any ideas how I can get my drawn logo to be vectorized or does anyone have some good explanation videos for me?

Thank you in advance!

I found the solution !!! You need to import your image, save as PNG and open it again and it will work ! Good luck ! 🍀

Are you asking about functions similar to Live Trace/Live Paint in the desktop version of Illustrator? The iPad version of Illustrator has a Vectorize function available in the Object menu on the right end of the workspace. When you place a pixel-based image file into the iPad version of Illustrator you'll see a little palette of icons at the botton of the photo. The icon on the left end of the palette is the Vectorize dialog box. Of course there are other manual tools for creating new, clean paths on top of placed pixel-based images (such as the Pen Tool).
