    I have the same problem (now in 2024). Where would I create a new profile?

    Hello from the future. This is still a problem.

     

    Adobe Illustrator 2022 (26.0.3) on macOS 12.2.1

      Search the forum, I think it's a known apple issue, I'm not on one so can't test, but you might want to create a new profile, it solved another issue I replied to earlier...

      I am not able to understand the issue with the screenshots. Also, please share the version of Illustrator as well.

      Hello,

       

      Sorry I was not so detailed with the explanation.

       

      I am using Illustrator V24.0.2  with MacOS Catalina.

      I have tried resetting to default but no success on trying to copy and save a file "name" into a  New folder.

      I would have to manually retype it into the New folder.

       

      I use to be able to do it on previous versions of Illustrator without problems.
