Hi, I have an issue with Illustrator. I am trying to work with a really simple 3d  file but I get a message of error that tells me that there is not enough memory to process the appearance of an object.

I have a new macbook pro of 2022 with M1 pro installed an 16 GB of ram and Sonoma 14.0 as OS.

I selected a secondary scratch disk as the Macintosh HD then I restarted but I didn't work. I meet the basic system required by illustrator so I don't know what's wrong with it...

Can anybody help me? I wasn't able to find a proper answer.

Thank you

Please show the object.

Also: did you already try and reboot the system? Then launch only Illustrator. Not even your browser.

Thanks for answering,

Yes, I reboot the system. I also tried everything described in this Adobe link except for the 4 points. I am updating the OS to the latest version 14.1.2 of sonoma and then, I let you know if the problem is fixed.

I got the message only when I click on Inflate options. If i select the other ones like revolve, extrude or plane I don't get the message. With the first objec everything was right. I get the messages only with the secind one.

And that object is just what we are seeing? Nothing special?

Yes, only these two objects.
Meanwhile, I updated to Sonoma 14.1.2 but nothing changed. The situation is what is shown in the new screen below. Illustrator is trying to render but then I still get the error message.

Can you share that AI file?

Upload it to Dropbox or the like and post a link.

I was trying to do my first 3D file. I made this design following this YT tutarial exactly as it is. I didn't change anything: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvnaJDvgEmM&t=300s

Thanks for helping!

Thank you. That file popped up the error even on my 32 GB RAM Macbook. There was something in the file. Can you try if this works for you? https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqTxVRZVotf6nTJqwcQLA67dCQPv?e=9n5nh8

Yes, it works.
I also tried to open the file at work on my mac studio 32 GB and there was the same message so I tried to make the same figure again (tonight on my macbook) and now it works normally :/. At this point, I presume, there was something in some object that made Illustrator crash... but I am not sure what was wrong as I did the same procedure.

Anyway thanks a lot for hlping me! 🙂
