Objects are moving slightly in Artboards when exporting to image (CC2018)

Hi, I can't seem to understand why but I'm working with multiple artboards to make a gif and when exporting as image everything is slightly moving (even though everything is positioned in the exact same spot in my file).

This is in the CC2018 version. I have another computer with CS6 and when exporting the exact same file this does not happen.

I'm attaching two images Notice the slight shift in the "Online Only" kerning, and in everything else in general. It's also adding a white left margin in one of them...

    Santiago,

Are you sure that the Artboards are aligned with the pixel grid (corners at whole (non decimal) X and Y values?

    Hi Santiago,

I assume you are using save for web for make your gif? You could try toggling clip to artboard setting

To be safer I would prefer to use use your artboard tool, and move your artboard to snap the the pixel edges.

Also enable snapping to pixel grid when working.

Surprisingly Adobe does not have a snap to artboard, anyone please correct me if you know of a setting, though I think this is always on at the pixel level.

Also make sure you define your artboard size in pixels to avoid splitting any.

Hi Jacob and Mike, thanks again.

Aligning the artboards to the X and Y values of pixel grid is working, however it's pretty tricky to align all of them and make sure nothing is off that grid when exporting.

Even when opening a new file (I just did a test with a new file of a 600x900px set of artboards)  they don't all align to edges in the Y grid (I would have to manually align each one for this not to happen).

Is there a way to export an image without the pixel grid affecting the outcome? I have been working with these programs for over ten years and had never encountered this kind of problem.

    Thanks again for the help.

For my part you are welcome, Santiago.

At least right now I fail to remember a time without pixel alignment recommendation.

Hi, thanks for your response. Do you mean this?

They are not, however, this has never been a problem. They are also not aligned when opening the file in CS6 and that one exports correctly, I don't know if it has something to do with some exporting preferences in settings or guides that I'm missing. This is the first time I'm using CC18 for things like this and I already tried all my all files and the same thing is happening...

    Santiago,

    That is what I mean.

What happens if you try it (the proof of the pudding is the eating)?
