Objects getting stuck into the artboard

Hi! My type + other objects keep getting stuck to my artboard and they won't let me move it. Any help pleae!

I am using Illustrator 2024 on a Mac OS Sonoma 14.1.

I am using an artboard and have text on my artbaoard. I then am trying to select the text with the selection tool, but it seems to be stuck to the artboard. It won't even highlight the text, its fully stuck. and it randomly happens.
