Objects not showing up in Illustrator ?

I'm having a curious issue with Illustrator. In the past, I haven't had an issue with exporting 2d artwork from Rhinoceros (a 3d modeling software) into Illustrator.

However, on a recenty project, when I open the Illustrator file, I see the layers, but I do not see the objects. When I zoom out as far as Illustrator will let me (3.13%) and scroll around, there are no sign of the objects. When I select all and drag, there is no sign of the objects. But I clearly see the layers (and many many sub-layers). I try to click the magnifying glass (for Locate Object) in the Layers dialog, but it's greyed out.

How do I find my objects in Illustrator so that I can work with the lineweights & display them on my artboard?

Look at your coordinates in Rhino! Your target coordinates alone are "in outer space", which will inevitably cause scaling issues as well as hitting all kinds of limits on precision and how numbers are stored. That's likely also why you don't see anything in AI - all your anchor points and lines are only nanometers apart and bunched up. You may simply need to scale the scene in R3D to get a better result.
