On new computer fonts have asterisks next to name

We bought a new computer for an employee, installed Windows 11 and Ai 2024. The fonts we use are stored on the share. I downloaded and installed the fonts. But now when she opens the files, the desired font is not used and the font name has asterisk next to it.

These are the same fonts that the rest of the staff use and that she used on her old computer. What could be the problem?

Turns out they weren't all the versions of font that were needed. After they gave me all the versions and I installed them, everything works fine!

Hi @Roman_Jakhiashvili,

Sorry to hear about this issue. It seems the fonts have been replaced with substitutes. Since the fonts are stored on a shared drive, try copying them to your machine, installing them, and then reopening the file.
