As previously stated, you can still purchase CS6 licenses at an Academic discount but these licenses are quickly becoming outdated. You can purchase the individual apps at an annual fee, or choose to sign up for Adobe EEA which is also a low annual fee. - http://www.genesis-technologies.com/cart/Education/Adobe_School_License_c1136/

So... Now it's 2017 and there's no CS6. If adobe could make a product right then this wouldn't be a problem but... So basically, there is NO WAY to pay once and you have to pay 3-4 times, or, if you are planning to keep using it, 9-15. I am ashamed that adobe has gone this route. Flash CS4 isn't even free and that was multiple years ago. The only one that's free is Macromedia Flash 2004 and that crashes on the newer systems not to mention the lack of features. Adobe said multiple times that, "CS6 will ALWAYS be availible for one-time pay if you choose, however we recommend CC" This, didn't happen. They can't understand that opening something to the public and saying it'll stay there forever then taking it down is not gonna make people happy... Anyway, enough of my ranting. Just wanted to vent to adobe.
