Hi all

can anyone help?

simple question, hopefully! -  How do you change the opacity of a layer in illustrator CS2, like in photoshop you can just reduce transparency.

Sorry if this seems like a silly question, can't seem to find how to do it, doh!

many thanks for any help

If you're going to change the transparency of a whole layer, you have to target that layer in the Layers panel (click the circle on the right handside of the layer name), then change transparency.

Open the relvant panel, cunningly called transparency. Things work differently between programs, so do read up in the help.
