Options in Saving a File

Hi,

When I save a file, Include Linked Files is not activated.

In the saved file, all files are linked.

Previously, I checked Include Linked Files in Options.

What's going on?

It only shows the Include Linked Files option when there are linked files in your document.

Your files are probably embedded.

There was an original file.

I did save as a different name.

Is that a reason?

Check if the files are embedded. The files in the Links panel do not need to be linked files, it also shows embedded files.

Does Unembed...  mean files are embedded?

Everything is fine to me.

It doesn't look like a serious issue.

In a bubble tip, there is Embedded Link.

Yes, "Unembed" means the file is embedded instead of linked.

you only have to check this option if you want to embed all Linked file into the AI file, 

if it is off, that means that document difenitly contains no linked files.
