Outline Graph in Illustrator

How do you outline/vectorize a graph created in Illustrator? I've already selected it and gone to Type > Create Outlines and it didn't work.

I was in the process of updating my post as expand or expand appearance usually solve this type of  issue, but simply ungrouping first, will allow you to outline the type atlases in 2015.3 this was what worked.

Ungroup first, you will get a warning, say yes.

That option isn't available when I click on the graph.
