Outline stroke

 anyone know how I can sharpen this outline stroke to a point. I'm only getting the option of curving the stroke. The stroke panel on the left also gives the option to round join, miter join or bevel join but none seem to have an effect. Any help would be appreciated!

Try to change the miter limit in the stroke panel to some higher value.

Expand that palette to show all the options and then you will find the Limit Setting

But be careful: for such an acute angle the point can be very far from the real corner point.

The narrower angle, the longer distance.
