Overlaping control on transform effect

Hi, I know I´m particularly basic in my Illustrator capabilities as I´m a video editor and not a designer but I need help on this.

I need to create a concentric design, and for that I´m drawing one object, and multiplying it using the transform option. I need this objects to have some overlaping on one side, and I´m havving an issue when it gets to the first object again. When the circle closes, the overlaping is weird because the first object (The one I have actually drawn) is always on top.

Is there a way for me to control the way this overlaps?

Thanks.

    You can apply a mask.

Other option would be to create this using a pattern brush instead.

Guess you are doing some circular transformations with the Transform effect, but as per your description I'm not quite sure if that actually is the case.

Can you post at least one screenshot that illustrates the issue?

This is the case. on the upper part the overlaping is just not right.

    Thanks.
