Packaging a file not possible

Hello, I have problems with packaging my Illustrator file. It's simply greyed out and it's not possible to click on "package". I already saved it, checked all my links and tried to copy it to a new document. Still wasn't able to package it...where is the problem?

I would be very thankful to get some help because I really need to package that file.
