Pantone process magenta

Not sure what you are asking.

Is the catalog color less vibrant than your art? Make sure your printer is actually using the Pantone process magenta ink and not their "standard" magenta.

Do you have an rgb doc?

How are you exporting? what color conversion settings are you using?

Process magenta is just magenta ink. There is a WIDE variation in magenta in in CMYK. So unless you have a specific controlled situation, don't expect colour matching.

You need to be more specific and provide info about your color management settings and stuff how the process color may have been converted from a spot color. If you don't adhere to some procedures here, you'll never come even close to getting a correct on-screen representation, even if they may be within the gamut of what can be emulated with a proof preview on a computer.
