paste/copy command illustrator

Hi community,

Copy and paste commands don't work in illustrator. On some objects/texts they work, while on others they don't.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing more details, like the OS/Illustrator version, so I can better assist you? Also, check if you have any plugins/window managers enabled, and temporarily disabling them to see if it helps.

Yes, when i try to paste the object/text, the paste command remains grayed out. Could you list the app? Thank you

• Windows Multi-clipboard
• Windows Clipboard History
• Clippy
• Chrome Remote Desktop
• Mouse Pointer Highlighter
• AnyViewer
• Pastebot app
• Overzealous antivirus (Digital Guardian) as well as viruses that empty the clipboard
• Vector Magic
